What is Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy?
VHMT (Vibrational Healing Massage Therapy), is based on a philosophy that our bodies, being mostly fluid, should move with a free and natural flow. "Dis-ease" and trauma can cause tensions that block this fluid movement which in turn impedes health and wellbeing.It goes further to state that the mind controlling the body does not distinguish the difference between physical and emotional trauma.
This trauma, when remaining after an event has passed, can store the event in the body as an area of solidity. This causes the body to adapt to the area of solidity by flowing around it and causing other potential traumas to follow in other areas of the body.The goal of VHMT is to assist the client to reconnect with their body by making them aware of these areas of solidity and providing a safe place, which they can release the stored traumas both physical and emotional, restoring fluid movement.
In this process, the therapist uses a series of twists, stretches, and compression of the muscles and joints.Many times a vibration can be felt or seen as the muscle releases.These releases can be accompanied with emotions and mental images from the source events, which caused the tensions.It is important to stay focused on these releases so they can be completely worked through.It is also common to find one release exposes another area of tension that is hidden. The process of "working back" allows the client to progressively work through layers of old tension to regain a fluid state.
